What is this nonsense about there having been "national encouragement" of the BLM riots?

Most of us, myself included, were frustrated that it happened and that we couldn't legally shoot the rioters down like rabid dogs in the street or run them down with our four wheel drives.

Hell, it was this outrage, coupled to the seeming belief that we were powerless to change things that helped lead to Trump being reelected.

Maybe MrV was appalled. Like SOOPOO and AZ. There were many on ‘the left’ that felt it ‘was no big deal. Or ‘expected’. While there as widespread looting, you know, in honor of George Floyd, the left continued to downplay the severity of the carnage.

Trump being a jerk does NOTHING to mitigate the disaster that the BLM riots were. The destruction of many small businesses in my city, all boarded up after the wanton looting, was a sight I’ll never forget.

In a news conference after the rally protesting the planned removal of a Confederate statue, Trump did say there were "very fine people on both sides," referring to the protesters and the counterprotesters. He said in the same statement he wasn't talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be "condemned totally."
