a little help from foreign media again

Overall the below article is saying "nothing to see here, move along, shame on right-wingers who are saying stuff" but they couldnt help themselves and included this,

Quote:
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Capt Rebecca Lobach ... [amongst all the rest] ... was also picked for a role as a White House aide
White House aide?

it is also mentioned that these right-wingers are saying she was attending "Pride" events, but they just let that drop too, without saying what the truth of that might be

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/was-blackhawk-pilot-rebecca-lobachs-name-kept-secret-for-a-reason-heres-what-we-know/articleshow/117860830.cms

What does her being a lesbian and a White House aid have to do with her flying abilities?

This is an insane witch hunt.

A television report and an article described three pilots. It was two.

My understanding is the third person was the crew chief which I believe is usually the lead for the maintenance on the aircraft.

I do not understand how you are not understanding this. Trump's EOs are effecting the FAA in a negative way. Musk also hates the FAA (because they don't let his rockets do whatever he wants,) so he is also harassing them with his weird department. So yes I am blaming Trump and his administration. Flying is less safe than ever thanks to Trump (and it will get worse before it gets better.)

Well, looks like all buyouts/retirement packages for FAA controllers were quietly told they are not eligible for the buyout and it was not intended to be sent to them... Can't imagine why this is...

In 2023, 55% of law school graduates in the United States were women. This is an increase from 2016, when women first became the majority of law students

That is kind of just mirroring the trend in undergrad enrollment. By 2030 it will probably be 2 women for every man in college. Men have seen that college is no longer a good investment. For a few courses of study it is needed, but we still sent twice the kids that we should be sending even with declining enrollment numbers which will really be crashing the next few years.

Women still like the romantic aspect of going to school and getting your degree. Men do not. Men have also gotten the message that they are not welcome or wanted on campus. Rather than fight the system they are saying, "You want it so bad you can have it. Take over, it's yours."

I think around where I live the percent of guys going on to college is lower than average. Yet, there is a shortage of things like electricians and plumbers

what do they wind up doing?

There will be more crop and lawn work available soon enough. For those who think the Department of Education is a waste.

Why are you so snobbish about lawn work? I’ve met guys who started that business and did very well. As to Department of Education somehow we went 200 years without it and did great in many ways better than with it. Only thing it has really done is increase need for administrative paper pushers.

I make fun of people who bask in their own ignorance like you do. I'm fine with people who work.

Doesn’t sound like it based on the comments you make. You just snubbed people who do physical work. You just implied mowing lawns is for illegal aliens to do. But given other bigoted remarks you make that is par for the course.
