Down and down it falls...love it.

Oh sure it costs me a lot of money (on paper) but it confirms my long held suspicion that Herr Diktator is a clueless dolt who makes it up as he goes along and has no concept of or interest in world history.

Just an opportunistic flim flam man, flensing and deboning the USA....and you idiots actually voted for him...again.

Sure did vote for him again. By wouldn’t I? He cares about America. Your side cares more about illegal aliens and wasting taxpayer $$$

What "side" do you accuse me of being a member of?

I never supported or voted for Biden or Harris: I do however keep my eyes open and am well educated.

I'd prefer that we elect "the best and the brightest," not warmed over rejects and / or tyrannical villains out only for themselves.

But you love tariffs and trade wars, eh?

You love taking a chain saw to the federal bureaucracy and throwing it into total disarray while at the same time giving tax breaks to the wealthy?

You love turning your back on our long time allies and sucking up to Russia, our enemy since WWII?

You love RFK? (oh please...gag me with a spoon)

Please explain how these things will fulfill the bovine idiot's claims that he'll quickly end inflation and make america great again...I'll wait.

I love tariffing people who tariff us. Get production back onshore.

Trump gave me a tax break last time and I am not wealthy. At the same time he stopped subsidizing CA wealthy and getting them to pay their fair share.

Our so-called allys don’t want to pay their end. We don’t need leeches.

And last election we did elect the best and the brightest.

Our explotation of seemingly limitless natural resources coupled to the development of The Bomb telescoped the USA after WWII.

A decision was made then to never allow Germany the chance to become a first rate military power again, i.e. deny them The Bomb given their propensity to covet and invade their neighbors in search of world domination.

Our nuclear umbrella and NATO has made it so they need not develop nukes, but now...cutting Europe loose...they'll develop them: they are increasingly politically reactionary so it will happen.

And then...WWIII.

Let them nuke each other. Who cares. More oil left for us.

NASDAQ is at 18544. Want to bet if it will be higher or lower a year from today? With Trump as President? You seem sure his policies are the beginning of a continuous downslide. Let’s bet! How about $365? A dollar a day!

Sorry, I never make bets with gambling forum members: nothing personal, I simply limit my gambling to when I enter a brick and mortar casino.

I can only speak for what I see happening NOW, since he was reelected, and it is a market very nervous and concerned about what Trump is doing.

Projecting to the future, as I do not see him changing his slash and burn mentality toward governing I suspect things will only get worse, but really who can say?

I hope the market soars as i am heavily invested, but if it tanks it won't cause me to leap out of a window as I've diversified my investment portfolio.

Agree on the ‘now’. Trump’s tactics are destabilizing. As is often the case with Trump, I like this general concepts, but not the way he does things. Paring the Federal government, great. Offering a gazillion buyouts? Not the way to do it. Found some problems with USAID? Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. Etc….

I mean this seriously. At least he’s trying SOMETHING! I can assure you President Harris would have expanded the government, not shrunk it.

You know people here just want to spew rhetoric, even they don;t believe what they say. If they did they would take your bet but they won't.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

That's quite an accusation based on a faulty assumption.

You've no clue what anyone actually believes, nor can you rationally conclude that failure to take a bet means anything other than "sorry, I don't bet with forum members."

As for "spewing rhetoric:" I opine only as I believe, or at least as I believed at the moment i opined.
