I have a feeling of schadenfreude watching Tesla tank.

Elon was once the darling of the liberals and now he's a pariah to them,

Hopefully the bombastic Boer won't remain the world's richest man for long.

Karma's a bitch, Elon...

Reality
Overall stocks are down for the month of February
Nasdaq , Dow , S&P 500 all down for the month of Feb

I’ll take your word for it. But my point is…. if the market goes up in March will you give Trump the credit like you are giving him the blame for February?

It will take a while to actually figure out how much damage some of Trump’s cuts do, and to whom? And how much savings to the Federal government his cuts will cause. The market up today and down tomorrow is so multi factorial.

If additional tariffs go into effect in March, there is virtually a zero chance of the market going up.

I mean Biden had the best stock market of the millennium (since 2000,) and he was bashed for the price of eggs....

Prices of basic goods (including fuel) will go up and the market will go down if the new North American tariffs that you support go into effect next month, if you do not see this, you are not living in reality.

The best that we can hope for is that Trump is bluffing again, and then the market will not be quite as bad.....

The premise Trump is operating under...that China and Mexico and Canada need to do more to stop the infusion of fentanyl into America...it is ludicrous.

So long as there is demand there will be supply, if not by China and Mexico then by Greenland and Panama.

February the Dow declined 1.6%, or 700 points, the S&P fell 1.4% and the Nasdaq declined 4%.
We need bigger numbers then the February decline.
If March goes up just enough to counter Feb losses , then we are just treading water and losing money due to inflation.
I'm traveling through Texas right now. In Abilene tonight. Next 2 nights right in the heart of measles country, Lubbock

Stocks Soar in Late Friday Rally Following Zelensky’s White House Fiasco

The S&P 500 added 1.59 percent, while the Dow Jones
Industrial Average jumped 601.41 points, or 1.39 percent.
The Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.63 percent, marking a
strong rebound from earlier losses.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

The point is the market has been pretty volatile of late.

There is hope from big business that Trump's pro-business policies will help their bottom line, yet also fear / anxiety over tariffs and massive tax changes, not to mention him taking a chain saw to the federal government.

Where it will end nobody knows.

So, just because someone might break into your house you don't lock the door????

China is not just not trying to stop it, they encourage it. They are trying to do to us what the Brits did to them with opium.

The Dow closed at 43,487.83 1/20/25 (inauguration day) and currently is at 43,419.01 as I pen this.

Adios, "Trump bump..."

Greetings, well-founded fear and pessimism

Round and round it goes, where it will stop nobody knows.
