I mean this seriously. At least he’s trying SOMETHING! I can assure you President Harris would have expanded the government, not shrunk it.

The last 2 Democrats have made their "legacy" on a huge first year spending package. Clinton tried the same but failed to get it passed. It is all they know how to do. Trump is going about it like a CEO doing a turnaround. Alan Mulally had to gut all kinds of things to turn Ford around. Lee Iacocca did similar a generation before at Chrysler. Lots of CEOs and managers have had to do it in the real world. Trump is following that model.

USAid was clearly so infested with waste the whole thing needed to be closed. Did some good go with all the bad? Probably. Who cares? We cannot keep spending years "going line by line with a scalpel." We need something bold. If we don't the kids born this morning will be in a nation with a quadrillion $$ in debt by the time they hit middle age.

I wouldn't necessarily bet against the NASDAQ being lower in a year, as Trump is unleashing the power of big company corruption, lack of regulation, probably coercion, and bribery worldwide, cooperating with despots, and making sketchy deals.

Trumpy idiots will applaud their own harm, financial stupidity, and trust in Trump. and probably only make Trump and his cronies richer.

In fact, doesn't matter how bad it gets, some people will still make money on the bodies and backs of others.

Tesla’s TSLA stock, which surged 91% after President Donald Trump’s re-election, has collapsed by 44% since hitting an all-time high of $479.86 on December 17, according to data from Google Finance.

Now trading at $302.80, Tesla is losing billions in market value, and shareholders are questioning Elon Musk’s leadership.

If I am reading that correctly, TSLA is up about 18% since his election. Not a bad return in four months.

Uh, no.

Tesla closed at $288.53 on election day, 11-6-24;

It closed yesterday at $281.95.

Oh yeah...due to unrealistic expectations it got as high as $ 479.86 on December 17, 2024, but since then the sheeple seem to be wising up to his and Trump's tomfoolery.

It's like Elon packed a SpaceX rocket with cash, launched it and watched it blow up spectacularly.

It’s around 290 as I post. This thread is childish. Should I post how great Trump is as the market has analyzed his moves, and soared today. Up more than a full percent today!

Maybe on Monday it will go down a percent. Am I to say it’s because of Trump?

Frankly, just looking at TSLA, for as little money as they make the price STILL seems silly high. But what do I know?

Just to be clear I believe election day was Tuesday November 5th. TSLA closed at $251.44 . So the price was $251.44 before the votes were counted. Today TSLA closed at $293,05. So it is up about 16% since election day. I have no idea if that is because of Trump or not and don't care. I am just happy when the markets are up.
