I love how triggered you liberals get over Alligator Alcatraz. Like you prefer we put them up at a Holiday Inn.

As to due process well for illegals it should be minimal. Just ship them back home. They don’t like it then don’t come illegally.

The thing about Alcatraz is that it has been closed for a LONG time and will cost a shitload to modernize: why do it when there are better, cheaper options?

It is simply a Trumpish ploy for what he thinks would be good optics, cost be damned.

As for due process: what if apparently has happened in their haste ICE deports folks who actually are here legally?

Make the hearrings for all deportees happen very quickly, hold them for a day or two til the hearing and if a judge is satisfied then off they go.

In te US, no US citizen is ever gnerally required to "show 'em zee papers". That's an AZDuffman Nazi fever dream.

And besides, too many examples of US citizens-with valid documents showing citizenship-still being arrested and held in custody by ICE. Now Donny wants to go after Native Americans.

He openly questions their right to US birthright citizenship. ICE has been known to harass Native Americans recently, in their zeal to round up the illegals. The harassment only ends when the subject presents tribal ID. US Native tribes are now recommending all members carry tribal ID at all times.They never need to before, and no law mandates they do.

At no time does a US citizen need to carry and ID, unless under defined circumstances. There is no reqirement a US citzein carry and ID at all times in public. I dare you to prove me wrong.

Maryland Man had legal residency and court order preventing his deportation. DHS acknowledged they deported him in error, but said they couldn't get him back. But, lo and behold, turns out they could get him back anytime they wanted.
