It's embarrassing, but that does not stop you from supporting him and his political appointments.

If the dude in Maine wins a Senate seat, will the then say "I'm not a fan, but it's the voters' rights to pick him. The voters in Maine clearly chose him over the alternative." and then support him, like you do Donny and Pete and Jr.?

I don’t ‘support’ Donny. Nor Pete. And I detest Jr. For I’m sure the same reasons you do. I just believe that because I hate him doesn’t mean the doofus President can’t nominate him.
I ABSOLUTELY respect the voters’ rights to put in the worst of the worst. I don’t think the squad should be ousted from Congress by anything other than a vote by their constituents. So, yes, if the voters pick Platner then of course I’d recognize his right to be their Senator.

It’s a rare guy/gal that needs to be removed. (Santos).

The Prez should just get anyone he wants in appointed office. The Senate needs to do its job on behalf of the American people. Confirming Jr isn't that.
