So, your answer is that appointing justices that have a record of aligning with your own judicial beliefs is "packing?" By your standard EVERY POTUS has "packed the court." The term is accepted for the FDR attempt to add justices to SCOTUS when he was not getting his way. I learned this in high school, I would think UAS Law School should have at least mentioned it when you were there. You are the one making a jerk out of yourself, not me. If you want to sound like some freshman college girl majoring in Womens Studies that is your business, though. Because that is they type who use the term like you are using it. War is peace. Truth be told I didn't take law school as seriously as I could have: life got in the way. No, I was no scholar, never tried for Law Review, but my grades were decent and during the forty years I practiced after passing the bar exam on the first try I mostly enjoyed my practice as it was interesting, profitable, and not time consuming. Interesting but not compelling. I always have to chuckle at the lawyers who base their identity on being an attorney: it's just a job, people. Sure, we make big bank but it's really no big thing. But being an internet troll, that's hitting the big time ! |
