Well, it looks like you are unable to prove the articles are incorrect.

I found another source of the same information. The well known "Right Wing" source "The Hollywood Reporter".

How Jimmy Kimmel’s Suspension Went Down: Sponsor Panic, a Defiant Host and a Painful Call

Well what do you know, this source confirms what I posted earlier.

Would Sinclair and Nextar have taken the same actions had Carr and the FCC not said what they said?

Good question. I’d go with probably. But we will never know. I’ll agree with my leftie friends that the FCC chair may have overstepped in his threat. Guess who also agrees? Ted Cruz!!! As I said many posts ago, it’s more nuanced than either side wants to admit.

Overstepped????????????????
It's censorship
Plain and simple
There is no nuance unless you are somebody that has a livid hatred for dems. Dem hatred Syndrome
Can't even recognize censorship

There was NO action taken by the FCC. YOU DONT know exactly what the FCC was going to do. What you DO know is MULTIPLE companies involved in airing Kimmel chose to cut ties with him. Rebuked him in clear and convincing terms.
Kimmel is free to speak his lies and obvious disgusting ideas. He just won’t be paid to do so by those multiple companies.

As has often been stated, freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences.

I’d like you to provide me with ONE ACTUAL FCC action that you believe violated any citizens right to free speech. I won’t hold my breath.

As I said, I generally agree that I wouldn’t want the FCC to FORCE the removal of a vile man like Kimmel, but read the press releases from the companies that axed him. Doesn’t sound like they needed any FCC action.

It's censorship
It's against the constitution
Even Ted Cruz agrees
He doesn't want foxnews shutdown when the Dems eventually take over

Over a week since the assassination so now we can look at things a tad more clearly.

The left can no longer hold themselves. Some are trying to say it was MAGA that did it. Some keep saying awful things, many getting themselves fired for doing so. A few are outright disrupting vigils for him, showing how most of the political violence comes from the left.

Strangely we have not seen riots like after Floyd, after the King verdict, or after MLK was assassinated back in the 60s. The right has not looted Target stores and burned things. Well, not "strangely" but more proof that the political violence comes from the left. There has been zero violence from the right this whole time.

Adding this to the tranny who shot up that school a month ago and it is clear that the tranny community is not the "they just want to be left alone and be themselves" group we have been told they are. More people are going to see this group as disturbed and in need of being treated with caution.

A few Democrats are running against Kirk's movement. I predict they will only excite the people who would vote for them anyways. Meanwhile, with Kirk's widow at the helm, Turning Point will blow up to become one of the most powerful activist groups out there.

If the kid's attorney has gone to anything better than UAS Law School he will be told to plead guilty. He will then try to get a deal of no Federal trial, AD Seg, and no death penalty. Attorney might have to tell him to think of his boyfriend if it goes to trial.

Long-term politics it might give Vance the yute vote in 28.

But I kind of think there will be more violence by 28. There might well be 1968-style protests at the Democrat convention. Between now and then, I cannot say what kind of violence I think but there will be violence. Perhaps a cabinet member assassinated. Perhaps riots, maybe after the midterms? The Democrats might have an old-school floor fight with say AOC and an almost mainstream candidate neither having the delegates going in. If that does happen and the AOC-type loses, a city burns. Maybe a few.

Long-long term, young people with conservative values know they are not the weird ones on campus. Assuming we have many colleges left in the coming decades.

You don't have to have any action. For instance, Tech bros and others got scared with Trump just mentioning various plans. That's the way it works. They got scared not just for penalties, but that the other rich guy was going get some deal and they weren't if they didn't bend both knees and kiss his ass.

Looks like even Elon Musk eventually figured a feud with Trump wasn't worth it

Elon is going to be worth $ 1 trillion soon. No feud with anyone is worth a trillion.

One of the smartest women in the world tells us a bit about Trans violence:

Quote: Ann Coulter

Here are some of the most notorious recent public murders. Would it be at all odd if each of these had been committed by a deaf person?

In 2018, transgender Snochia Moseley, one year into her pre-surgery hormone therapy, shot and killed four people at a pharmaceuticals distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland.

In 2019, transgender Maya McKinney, born female, but who “identified” as male (“Alec” McKinney), shot nine students, killing one, at a STEM high school in Denver, Colorado, allegedly because they’d mocked her identity.

In 2022, nonbinary (“they/them”) Anderson Lee Aldrich opened fire at a gay night club in Colorado Springs, Colorado, killing five. Liberals deny that Aldrich is really nonbinary — but you’re a Nazi if you deny that Joe Biden’s assistant secretary for health “Rachel Levine” (born Richard Levine) is really a woman.

In 2023, transgender Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who went by “Aiden” and “he/him” and was “miserable being raised a girl,” shot up a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, killing six, including three children.

In 2024, transgender Genesse Ivonne Moreno fired around 30 rounds from an AK-47 into a Houston, Texas, megachurch before being taken out by a couple of off-duty law enforcement officers.

Just last month, transgender Robin Westman, who changed his name from Robert because, as court documents put it, he “identified as female and wants her name to reflect that identification,” fired dozens of rounds from a rifle at the children attending Mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, injuring 21 and killing two, ages 8 and 10.

Taking into account their percentage of the population, economist John Lott determined that, between 2018 and 2024, transgenders committed a wildly disproportionate number of the mass public shootings — 6.8 times their share of the population.

Add this all to the gay boyfriend of a trans who "hated Christians and conservatives" killing Charlie Kirk.

At the least we can see a pattern of theophobic hate among the trans people in this group.

Good. Now do violence and killings of trans by straights.

Maybe Ann Coulter is correct. Maybe we should ban anyone with testosterone from aving guns.

One thing you got to love about Trump, at the memorial today he hugged Charlie Kirk's beautiful wife and not once did he try and bury his face in her hair with his eyes rolled to the back of his head like the last walking piece of shit president would have done. The reason Trump is so overwhelmingly popular is because we're comparing him to a demented treasonous old crook that we had to endure before Trump was reelected. I don't come here very often anymore because it's loaded with so many liberal assholes, people full of hatred who have no idea what's happening now. Who have no idea how totally fucked they are for the foreseeable future.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
