Well, well well, how about that!

Nicholas Sandmann Gets His THIRD Settlement from Corporate Media, This Time from NBC

Quote:
Nicholas Sandmann, the former Covington Catholic High School student who made news by being defamed by corporate media during a “standoff” with Native American protester Nathan Phillips in 2019, has scored his third settlement from a huge media company. According to a Tweet, NBC has settled with the 18-year-old for an undisclosed amount:

Sandmann had previous reached settlements with CNN and the Washington Post.

Wish I could find all the numerous leftie posts that said the he would lose and get nothing.

(Bolding mine)

So do I.

I am surprised people still even care. Kid with a MAGA hat was getting chanted at by some crazy Indian guy who lied or was misleading about being in Vietnam (that is about all I remember of him since that was the headlines for like a year), and I think some crazy religious group. Media failed with the story and should pay the price (as they are). I don't recall anyone who has done more than a cursory glance at it defending them or their coverage.

I would be more concerned about the media lies regarding Kyle Rittenhouse, far more impactful (as far as truth and actual impact to their life, reputation, and safety). I think Kyle Rittenhouse has a much bigger payday if he cares about civil action (not saying he should or should not).

I wouldn't give anything if I was on the jury. He got his self-defense verdict. I don't think he deserves anything more.

...Although, I don't have a problem that the guys who got killed or shot got what was coming under the circumstances, I have a pretty strong belief none of them would have died at all if Kyle hadn't been out there. I'm not inclined to reward a 17 year old out with a rifle in a riot.

He was called a white supremacist. That is slander. Media needs to pay up.

They laughed and laughed as I recall and said he would get nothing. And I said the kid is set for life. It's odd that the Left can't I see things like that. It was obvious as night and day that the media has slandered this kid to the point where it would ruin the rest of his life. But nobody on the left saw it. That's scary.

One of their focus group tested terms they apply to anyone who doesn't support their agenda.

Another one is 'militia'. Anyone who defends themself against their militant arm, Antifa and BLM, is a member of a militia.

According to them and their media, Rittenhouse is both.

Rittenhouse said he is not a member of a militia group. He fired his first team of lawyers, who claimed he was.

Biden suggested he is a white supremacist. Then, said he was disappointed with the verdict.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said Rittenhouse bought an assault rifle because he thought it was cool. Went across state lines. Appointed himself part of a militia and fired sixty rounds. Killing two people.

The rifle was loaned to him in Wisconsin by his friend. He never said he thought it was cool. He was never a member, or self appointed member of a militia. He fired eight rounds in self defense.

It's much more than just that the media claimed he crossed State lines with a gun, went out to kill people. Basically, they painted him as a murderer.

He will probably get death threats for the rest of his life because of the media coverage. He can't even go to college right now, without students revolting and demanding that he be thrown out.

Maybe me booking cruises is jinxing the world.

Just reading our local paper. This county [Mohave] 30% of it's population [ that's probably not the cruise your going on ] is 60 or older, with the 3rd worst vax rate in the country by county's. The article went on to say that out of all the ICU beds in the state, there are only 88 of them out of 1700 something, that aren't occupied. So there's a good chance if I were to need intubation, I would be sent to another county. And my wife can't travel.
