Absolutely. Education should never be illegal. Asking the question is not committing the crime. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

There is no such thing as censorship on private property I support the Wizards right to Nuke or suspend anybody A public library is not private property It's public property I am against censorship on public property. Really??? So the library should be required to have legal pornography!? If Trump writes a book describing how the election was stolen the library shouldn’t be able to not have it available? Public libraries by definition censor ALL THE TIME by choosing or not choosing a book to carry. |

What's pornography??????????????????? Going with the US Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewarts definition lol "I know it when I see it" You are absolutely and totally wrong on your definition of censorship Come on Soopoo, really surprised because you are no extremist What a library chooses and not chooses is not censorship It's constrained by a budget and their size. Censorship is not failing to choose. It's outright banning. It's a particular list of books they absolutely will not allow the public to read and budget has nothing to do with the decision. My library always wants suggestions on what to carry. Don't all libraries operate that way If the majority wants porn in libraries whatever it is, hey, why not:-) Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

We would be bored in Florida. We live in two homes in NYC. One is a condo on Central Park South, directly across the street from Central Park. Everything we could want in fine restaurants, museums, and entertainemnt, is close by. Until 2018, NYC was the safest large city in the US. Then that filthy dirt bag Cuomo signed the no jail law and released 16,000 criminals over the next two years. Including sixteen cop killers. Democrats ruin everything they touch. If we leave, it would be north or east. The further south you go, the worse it gets. |

Wow Living the good life Yea if you are in a prime NYC neighborhood, nothing really compares except maybe Tokyo. The buzz is 24/7 No kidding FL will be boring to you Been going to NYC since I was a kid listening to my parents and their friends complain about Mayor Lindsey letting crime get really bad. Hmm Some things never change I just happened to be in NYC for a concert at the Beacon theater when George Harrison died I went over to Strawberry Fields and hundreds of Beatles fans were singing songs. Very moving experience in my life. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I’ve walked across Central Park South hundreds of times. Seeing the horses, the joggers, and just the park…. Very nice! Nothing better than being on 59th and Madison knowing I have that half hour walk to the (no longer…) Carnegie Deli! Where is your other abode? |

| missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 160 Posts: 5496 | I was raised outside of NYC and never cared for the big apple. Too dirty, smelly, noisy for me. I prefer Portland, which is a large enough city to "do things" set in an area convenient to engage in many fun outdoor activities. NJ had wall to wall homes and people; I prefer forests. To each his own, eh? |

You would be surprised but NJ has a huge desolate forest. I read a book about it. The Pine Barrens. Some colonial history there also. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |
