Zacchigna endured severe bullying as a child and experienced serious mental health issues throughout her teenage years as a result.

“Online, I was sucked into a world where it felt like I was finally somewhere I belonged. In places like Tumblr, there was constant reassurance that only trans people spend so much time thinking about their gender (not actually true) and that every trans person has doubts about transitioning,” she explained.

Zacchigna also became convinced that embracing this new identity was the solution to all her problems and in spring of 2010 attended a support group at the Sherbourne Health Centre in Toronto called "Gender Journeys."

Lots of cases are on the docket than have zero chance of ever being heard.

I doubt she will win. But a very interesting read. Not sure how I feel about it! I’m sure Ontario has strict criteria for getting this expensive state paid for treatment.

I don't think I completely understand it.

To be able to relate and understand the terms used, etc.


I get the sense that everything is so permanent and easy to make a mistake.

Any surgeon doing some kind of controversial procedure, that's not urgently time critical, should refuse to do the surgery on first inquiry. "Come back in six months if you still feel the same way and we'll schedule you." They don't need to recommend anything beyond that.

Loy Brunson (not Raland) is supposedly the power player, whatever that means.

Regardless, no telling how many persons in the USA are climbing the judicial ladder at the same time (thousands?).

Meanwhile, Biden (Bidenski?) is in the running for the worst President ever.

So most of us know something is not right.
