Mia explained: 'I started my transition at 16. I knew I was born in the wrong body.

'I had my first surgery when I was 18 which was a breast augmentation. I have also had two rhinoplasties and I have undergone facial feminisation surgery where I've had my jawline and chin shaved down and reshaped.

'I've also had a Brazilian butt lift and I'm planning on getting another next month. I have recently just had a face lift in Turkey. I didn't need one but I had a bit of loose skin after having my face shaved down.

'Of course I also get my lips done, have hair extensions, my nails done and get jaw and cheek filler too.

'I've spent over £100,000 now, my facial feminisation was £22,000 and my boob job was £9,000. My parents have been so supportive and have helped me out as well.

'My mum passed away and she left me money to do it. I know she's proud of me for becoming who I've always wanted to be. It has all been worth it.

'She also helped me go private for my hormone treatment as the NHS waiting list was so long it felt like would never happen. I don't feel any different, I just feel like I have always been this way.

'I can be authentically myself and I don't feel any different, it's who I'm meant to be. Now looking in the mirror every day and seeing the girl I've always known I've been is amazing,' said Mia.

'There are days I get upset but I'm mostly happy - we all have good days and bad days. It impacted my mental health when I was younger, I didn't think there was any hope for me whatsoever. I always knew in school how I felt.'

Mia added: 'I used to think I was a girl and when I was younger I used to play with Barbie dolls, I was never into football and my parents just thought I was going to be gay.

'Being transgender wasn't a thing until now as it's publicised a little more, but luckily I have a really supportive family.'

Testosterone truly is the male hormone. It is what turns boys into men—upon puberty the testes drastically upregulate their production of it, triggering secondary sexual characteristics. These include the growth of muscle and bone, a deeper voice and the sprouting of body hair. Without testosterone, one suspects there would be a lot of noodle-armed, squeaky-voiced man-babies stalking the streets, perhaps in the vein of a Michael Jackson (rumoured to have been on hormone-blockers since childhood) or even a young Jeff Bezos (until he allegedly started pumping himself full of replacement testosterone).

But a new study published this month in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has found that testosterone is in crisis, at least when it comes to American Millennials and Gen Z-ers. Men’s testosterone is supposed to decline naturally with age, but this study, which was presented last October to the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, showed a shocking decline in the levels of cohorts of young American men throughout since 1999. The authors tested the serum testosterone (total amount of testosterone present in the blood) of 4,045 men aged between 15 and 39—making sure to control for confounding factors such as age, race, and level of physical activity—and still the results were unmistakable. In fact, they have been slashed by over one-quarter in the last two decades.

I don't know who's playing word games, but I do know that this has been nothing but days of nonsensical discussion. Using a slightly different superlative and inverting the order of the word, 'Power,' and the superlative being used makes the statement no less metaphysical.

There could be a difference.
