I thought it was clever to have the office also be the dog house and an even more clever solution to the problem.

Once again the underlying moral stance rears its head: the owner of the doodad was not 'a player' he had not wronged ''Saul''. Saul just wanted to rip him off because it was 'that twenty lying on the sidewalk' and that is why there was the terse as ever "pass" followed by a prompt departure.

I knew the writers would have Mike
pass on stealing the Hummel, it's
one step above shop lifting, not
Mike's thing at all.

Well, I didn't see any episode about the hummer. I'm dog sitting now so I'm using someone else's cable set up.

Remember that Mike's moral stance has been shown to work to his detriment. Taking out that truck driver but not killing him tipped the shipper's to his identity.

I hope to be able to watch episodes wherein I learn how the hot chick lawyer screwed up her arm.

Saul has no moral values, Mike has too high a moral stance. Strange for an ex cop.

Last night's episode. How could you not
see the Hummel figurine if you watched
the show.

figurine? I thought you meant the real thing. Figurine? Didn't see it. My usual brain fog from inadequate oxygen and a ticker that vibrates rather than beats.

Sorry I thought EvenBob made a reference to the yellow hummer that was featured in a previous season. A gaudy car owned by a pompous jerk.

I didn't pay much attention to the "doodad" figurine that was being stolen.

I don't get Jimmy going directly from lawyering and scamming to burglary. I doesn't seem like the kind of thing he'd do. And, for having just given a speech about not doing homework, he sure as heck didn't do any before lifting the Hummel. How does he know for sure they don't know it's value, or that they can't tell the two apart? And he, of all people, should know that a retail figure in a catalog has no bearing on what you could actually sell an item for.

The season would make a whole lot more sense if he had taken the job selling copiers. He could move up in the company and then screw himself somehow. Con man, sure. Burglar? I don't get it.

I thought the same thing. His brother
dies and Jimmy immediately goes
to breaking and entering. It made
no sense. He got the idea that they
didn't know the value because one
of them said they hadn't taken the
time to 'throw all that junk out'.

I was in the business, there's book
value and real value. All price guide
books are written by collectors, and
they always super inflate an items
value so their collection is worth
more. If the book says $8K, they
could maybe get $3.5K for it. At
an auction it might go for $5K. But
taking it to a Hummel show, no way.
