It would make more sense for Jimmy to take the job selling office machines, then say, "I know some old ladies that would just go bonkers over these, would it be okay if I helped you out by clearing them off the shelves and giving them to the gals? They'd be so happy!"

Then he can do it all clean.

I don't get Jimmy going directly from lawyering and scamming to burglary.

Remember, he came up a scammer. When things go bad you go back to the business you know best.

Meanwhile, it appears that Albuquerque is not the place to meet quality women.

But that's not a scam, it's burglary. I always saw Jimmy as enjoying beating the other guy as much as he wanted the money. Burglary seems crude.

But also, maybe it ties into Kim: scamming she can take, but burglary she can't. Probably he is going to destroy her, through his proximity, and that's when he will become Saul.

I just watched an interview with him, on Conan; he always thought he was going to get killed on Breaking Bad, and he thinks the only reason he wasn't was that the audience wanted more Saul. But there was no reason he shouldn't have been taken out.

That is not true. There is still a strip club downtown that does $5 lap dances during the day. $5 is much cheaper than E-harmony.

I'm watching season 4 too, but can't think of any good comments about it. I can say it is my least favorite season so far. The previous seasons had a charm to them that I'm not picking up any longer. I used to feel I knew the characters, but I feel more distant from them now. Also, some of the stories seem to be going off on a tangent, but maybe it will all come together later. I did like that scene with Gale -- that was more in the previous kind of silliness that I liked about the first three seasons.

I was in the business, there's book
value and real value. All price guide
books are written by collectors, and
they always super inflate an items
value so their collection is worth
more. If the book says $8K, they
could maybe get $3.5K for it. At
an auction it might go for $5K. But
taking it to a Hummel show, no way.

I feel that was true about the "red book" of coin values. Any coin dealer would be happy to pull out the book to show he was selling the coins at a so-called fair price. However, I bet if you took coins into him to buy, he would give you half the book value. One great thing about eBay is it has established a record of true values for license plates.

Something will happen there. The
writers are going out of their way
to make Jimmy fawn over Kim,
and to have her appear to have
intense feelings for Jimmy. Her
crying when she finds out Chuck's
letter wasn't soul crushing like she
thought it would be. The writers
are setting us up for a big wedge
between them that's coming.
Jimmy will do something abhorant
soon, and we'll all be appalled at
his crassness.

Well:

Kim is showing to be a bit of a problem.

Jane was a heroin addict.
Marie was a kleptomaniac, and that was her best feature!
Skylar cheats on a husband with cancer
Lydia.....need I say anything? (though she lived in Texas)

who else?

Chuck and Kim are Jimmy's anchors
to the real world. Now that Chuck's
gone, if Kim goes too, we'll see the
full blown Saul appear. At least I
think that's what the writers have
in store for us..

Kim is out of her league with the bank expanding into several states. Somehow Jimmy screws that up, or can't resist his true nature as a thief ??

I'd like to think Howard isn't completely gone either.
