The vast majority of climate change supporters don't fly private jets. They're called scientists.

Exactly. The credibility of anthropomorphic climate change does not rest on the ethical purity on Bill Gates, Al Gore or Ted Danson. It depends on the work of scientists and the research they publish.
The mind hungers for that on which it feeds.

There are plenty of scientists that agree climate change is a scam.

This one is one of my recent favorites to show the scam in action.

If they were really concerned with climate change (if it were true for example), they would fly commercial at a minimum.

Eco group slams Davos summit as global elites arrive in private jets to talk climate policy

The study determined that 1,040 flights on private jets were recorded arriving and departing seven airstrips close to Davos during the week of the 2022 WEF conference. The private jet air traffic in the region represented an uptick of about 500 private flights relative to weeks before and after the conference. Therefore, Greenpeace estimated that those 500 flights, or 48% of all private jets in the area that week, were transporting conference participants.

You can find people willing to bilk people of funds in a children's cancer fund. But nothing is totally free from that possibility.

Don't believe me.

Check these old newspaper clippings.

The Al Gore quotes are my favorites.

Wrong Again: 50 Years of Failed Eco-pocalyptic Predictions

Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.

Predicting is hard. Ask any economist. Perhaps the predicating should be done like the Bible. Don't risk giving a specific date, just fuzzy data points.

Quote:
In 2015, investigative journalists discovered internal company memos indicating that Exxon oil company has known since the late 1970s that its fossil fuel products could lead to global warming with “dramatic environmental effects before the year 2050.” Additional documents then emerged showing that the US oil and gas industry’s largest trade association had likewise known since at least the 1950s, as had the coal industry since at least the 1960s, and electric utilities, Total oil company, and GM and Ford motor companies since at least the 1970s. Scholars and journalists have analyzed the texts contained in these documents, providing qualitative accounts of fossil fuel interests’ knowledge of climate science and its implications. In 2017, for instance, we demonstrated that Exxon’s internal documents, as well as peer-reviewed studies published by Exxon and ExxonMobil Corp scientists, overwhelmingly acknowledged that climate change is real and human-caused. By contrast, the majority of Mobil and ExxonMobil Corp’s public communications promoted doubt on the matter.

This is a good one and included in the other link too.

When I read an article like this, I try to read between the lines to see what the person really means.

It's obvious Charles has no idea what he's referring to.

Someone is filling his head with misinformation.

Now, if he mentioned 100 years in the future, as opposed to 96 months, then he'd be halfway believable.

Just 96 months to save world, says Prince Charles

The price of capitalism and consumerism is just too high, he tells industrialists

Less oil, more profits.

We just saw that with windfall oil profits.

Exxon benefits when folks believe in climate change.

Believers buy electric cars powered by new coal plants.

This was well before electric cars as a regular product. Decades before.

You realize that's a global warming document, right?

"Assessing Exxon Mobil’s global warming projections"

That's what the "scientists" used to call climate change.

Then they changed the name of it because it wasn't just heat involved but also cold cold cold.

Also, drought and moisture differences.

But definitely not global warming.

That's because the scientists were wrong.

So now, we are to think they're correct all of the sudden.
