We have good background checks. That is all that is really needed. The problem lies in Chicago not Indiana. The President is a fink. |

20 cities listed. I am guessing. 17 have Democratic mayors? 18? 16? I am sure it is just a coincidence.... |

Correlation without causation. Big cities tend to have high crime rates. Big cities tend to be Democrat. Therefore Democrats cause crime? I could make a similar argument that parking meters cause crime. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

Look at it by state, gun deaths per capita are almost all red state majorities. http://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/death-by-gun-top-20-states-with-highest-rates/21/ You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

You have to split out suicides. Suicides are not gun violence in the same way crime is. And if you have a red state but with a blue area it skews things. Louisiana is red but blue New Orleans is most population. The President is a fink. |

Suicides (regardless of method) are also mostly highest in gun heavy states. So that's relevant information. People are killing themselves more often in gun states. Unless we want people killing themselves that's not a good stat 1. Wyoming 2. Alaska 4. Montana 5. New Mexico 6. Utah 7. Colorado 8. Nevada 9. Oregon 10. Kansas 11. Arizona 12. West Virgina 13. North Dakota 14. Missouri 15. Alabama. 16. Tennessee 17. Maine 18. Washington https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm6345a10.htm Suicides in the states (by any method) are also lower in 5 states with the strictest gun laws. Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

You do realize that having a gun in the house doesn't make the suicide rate go up or down. I worked a suicide hotline in the 70's, it has nothing to do with the choice of method. It's all about depression, not gun control. If you're determined to kill yourself, you'll find a way. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Naturally. Guns are designed to kill by destroying tissue. Point it at a vital area, and it's a high-probability you'll kill the target. It's one of the most reliable means for suicide. Therefore it makes sense the more access to guns overall, the more successful suicides overall. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
