I remember the press being delirious with glee over advertisers exiting Rush Limbaugh's show over his Donavan McNabb comments in 2003. Rush said McNabb was over rated and propped up by the media because he was Black. This later turned out to be 100% true of all Black QB's, but at the time it got Rush in trouble. He would laugh and laugh at the advertisers deserting him. He said for every one that went there were 25 waiting for the time slot. O'Reilly is in the same situation. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

O'Reilly writes all these fictionalized books about killing different people. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=bill+oreilly+books&*&spf=551 Probably needs to start on "Killing Bill O'Reilly". You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I believe 3 his killing books have been at #1 on the NYT list. He's written 18 books and has made a good living off of book sales. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

*whispers* That's not how advertising works. Time and time again you reveal how little you know about everything. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

That's exactly how it works. You replace an advertiser with somebody who pays the same or more for the same slot. If you're at the top of the heap like Rush or O'reilly you beat them back on a daily basis. Very few viewers these days are advertiser loyal. It's not like the old days of TV when one company brand, like Camel cigs, or Coke, sponsored a whole show. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

There is no waiting list of advertisers waiting to get a slot on BillO's show. That is just nonsense. If you really think there are 42 advertisers who can now get a slot since 42 others dropped him.... well, you're even more hopeless than I thought. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I used to buy local TV ads when I had a business. For the big shows I couldn't even get on. There was never any slots. You're naive if you think they have a problem getting ads for O'Reilly's show. Just like Rush, who didn't suffer one lost dollar. The last report 6 hours ago said 17 had dropped out, not 42. You have to stop watching CNN. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

What's interesting is you have no idea how it works. I'm watching O'reilly right now and there is no shortage of well known advertisers. Oh no, how did that happen. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Honest question: does it suck to always be demonstrably wrong about everything? Here Are All The Advertisers Who Have Dropped Bill O'Reilly It's even more than 42 now... “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |
