One can hope. but I don't think he's the kind of person to act that way. What bothers me is that Golden Boy is making the US look more like a cheap Banana republic every day: A kleptocrat at the top, check. Rampant nepotism, check. Appointing people based more on loyalty than ability, check. Contempt for the rule of law, check. Contempt for the press, check. Contempt for civil rights, check. It's too bad thus far most of the GOP is too scared of Trump to stand up to him in principle (and that's another check). It may be time to start learning French and German. Yes it was. But why? I'm rather certain Golden Boy didn't conspire directly with the Russians. I'm less certain he didn't instruct any of his flunkies to do so. I think it's probable one of his lackeys asked the Russians for favors of their own initiative, either before or after the Russians began to interfere with the election. But it doesn't seem likely. What's very likely is a Trumpkin talked to a Russian and said something that might be construed as incriminating, Something that would make the Golden Boy turn pink in embarrassment, which is as unforgivable a crime as there can be in whatever he uses for a mind. Thus the next guy can be intimidated into never releasing this information, seeing as it may not even be a real crime or anything. This could come out anyway, making the Golden Boy look even more inept than he already is (if that's possible). One good thing about this guy, is he can be counted on to make a bad situation worse. He lost the support of his troops when he let Hillary skate on her email server. Good riddance! Love how the liberals are still beating the Russia drum. They cannot say what the Russians did of course. They cannot even hazard a guess. Same liberals who said checking into anything Clinton did was a "witch hunt." The President is a fink. |
