FBI Director Comey

The Dems are screaming this is a constitutional
crisis, Trump can't fire an FBI director! Oops, sure
he can, an FBI director serves at the will of the
president and can be fired with no reason given.
The Dems begged Obama to fire him, how would
that not have been a crisis also.

It's ironic that Henry Kissinger (age 93) just showed up at the White House. The President said they discussed Syria, but I think they may have discussed the Saturday Night Massacre.

No chance in hell. Obstruction of justice is a very valid cause for impeachment.

Besides, lots of people are angry at the AHCA, and Trump's disapproval numbers are rising now even among people who voted for him. And that's data from before he fired the guy investigating him and his campaign.

I hope he turns his nose brown in Saudi Arabia. That will lose him even more support among his voters.

Is the acting director going to get fired?

He contradicted Trump on several points:
that Comey had lost the confidence of the rank and file,
he called the investigation into the russions "highly significant",
he promised senators he would tolerate no interference from the White House, and would not provide the administration with updates on its progress. (direct quote from article)
and thinks it is 'unthinkable' that the former director would have informed the president one way or the other whether or not he was under investigation.

In short, the Orange man wanted Comey gone, and he got his officials to come up with a reasonable excuse.
