Why was she suddenly tweeting about it on May 2017? There must be more context. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Eliminate all of the liars and hypocrites and we'd have a combined eight or nine people between both bodies of Congress. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

The house still voted to impeach him, and the articles of impeachment were sent to the senate. He was charged unanimously with “criminally disregarding his duty as Secretary of War and basely prostituting his high office to his lust for private gain.” The senate agreed that that it retained impeachment jurisdiction over former government officials. The senate held a trial. Belknap was acquitted of all charges. Though a majority voted against Belknap for all of the charges, a 2/3 majority was not reached on any of them. https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/minute/War_Secretarys_Impeachment_Trial.htm "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts." I think the republicans are prepared to not change the rules, and will work on nothing but the trial full time, preventing any biden confirmation or other legislation from being heard. It will put an enormous time pressure on the trial, which won't be a good thing if a fair trial is what is wanted. "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts."
