I can't wait to hear all the bigots explain why people in WMT is OK but not in church! .

Did the DMV's close during the
lockdown? There are always 100+
people in mine any time of the
day. Go in cold and it's a 3 hour
wait.

In GA its appointment only for DMW (DDS). (State)

And, the tag office (County) is completely closed to entry.

I am sure if GA did it, even more liberal states did....

In hospital? I have it in writing, carry it with me at all times. Have a copy of my driver's license superimposed on the bottom of the page, or whatever the right word is. I'll add to it the specific wording that I do not wish to be intubated, though it already says I am not to be resuscitated, or even treated, for any reason and no measures whatsoever are to be taken to save my life in any instance whatsoever.

The economy of the United States of America, as you know it, does not recover for at least ten years if retail misses the Holiday Season. You think unemployment and corporate bankruptcies are bad now? We'll be saying, "Remember March when the economy was booming?"

Only one thing will make the economy come back
People feel safe
As long as I don't feel safe, I will continue not going to restaurants, bars, casinos, concerts, sporting events ect
That's the case with most people
The economy will continue to suffer till people like me feel safe

Yes, in your state, MI, they closed.

My approach is not whether it is worthwhile, but the fact that I will die eventually and why go early? That is the only value I attach to it.

Why not go, 'Early?'

Everyone needs some thing to look forward to, some reason to get out of bed.

But slowly choking from lack of air, or aspirating and drowning in your own fluids is a disturbingly miserable way to exist. What a cruel society that would force that person to continue and not assist them with a painless demise.

Hard for me to understand why some states would prefer to spend another million Medicare dollars for that person to continue suffering.

I believe no matter what your mindset, if you have to fight repeated battles against dying, you'll eventually just decide you're too tired to go another round.

I've heard as much as that from people dealing with chronic conditions. Eventually, they are just too tired. Resignation?
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Most people can do as they wish and take whatever actions they feel are appropriate. Everyone else should also be allowed to do as they wish and will do the best they can to keep this bad boy moving for you until you guys get back.
