No they’re not. You’ve been saying this since March and it’s never ever been backed up with any evidence. Because poll after poll shows the vast majority of Americans are pro-mask. It’s the “loud minority” of beta males and Karens who are tired of the masks. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I agree with AZDuffman. I think most people are tired of wearing masks but think it is better than the alternative. What percentage of people will continue wearing masks daily after the Covid threat is over? At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I agree If anything I am seeing a higher % of people wearing masks as I have traveled through the country What really surprises me is all the mask wearing outside Most people are really serious about avoiding this virus Tourist areas such as art galleries on Canyon Rd, 90% wearing mask outside covering nose and mouth 9% mask down outside, 1% no mask Its really shocking so out of touch Trump is regarding the virus and the America people 3 weeks away and he is dismissive of the virus while the clear majority of the country including many conservatives are taking this virus seriously, Its almost as if Trump is throwing the election Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I never have and money to clean. I play at casinos online. Bitcoin is not infected. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

petroglyph Member since: Aug 3, 2014 Threads: 25 Posts: 6227 | I always had a change jar. In years past I've turned it in and made house payments, or trips to Reno. It hasn't seen much action in several years now. Yesterday my wife went to our bank to get a notarized signature, she took our change jar in. It seems like years ago all banks had a change counting rolling machine? Then fewer had them. Then I see the coinstar machines that charge people 10% to roll their coin. The way this bank works it now is, they give the account 50.00 credit right away and when it gets turned into rolls sometime later on [ not by today] they put that amount into our account. Banks have less purpose than they used to. IIRC you don't bank much. How do you get things notarized? The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

Haven't had anything to notarize in 20 years. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Tanko Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 0 Posts: 1995 | A 25 yr old patient in Nevada was infected with two different strains of the virus in less than two months. Previous exposure to Covid-19 did not prevent infection by the second strain. If this is true, a vaccine may not offer protection against other strains. "Genetic discordance of the two SARS-CoV-2 specimens was greater than could be accounted for by short-term in vivo evolution. These findings suggest that the patient was infected by SARS-CoV-2 on two separate occasions by a genetically distinct virus." "The second infection was symptomatically more severe than the first." |

Very, very few. I don't know many people who do not hate the things. All you have to do is notice how fast people take them off when they sit down at a restaurant. The President is a fink. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25013 | Something very strange is going on. This is from the NYT today: Experts Confident Pandemic To Be Over ‘Far Sooner’ Than Expected, Trump Efforts ‘Working With Remarkable Efficiency’ The NYT is praising Trump to the heavens 3 weeks from the election and by doing so shooting Biden in the back. Biden's whole campaign is the virus will kill us all if Biden doesn't win. Why is the Times doing this, why are they all of a sudden anti Biden. What do they know that we don't about Biden. https://www.dailywire.com/news/nyt-experts-confident-pandemic-to-be-over-far-sooner-than-expected-trump-efforts-working-with-remarkable-efficiency If you take a risk, you may lose.
