I'd rather have Mexicans than Russians.

Good grief, when the Lutheran church started bringing in Russians by the boatload I knew things would get bad, and they did.

Russian women were OK, level-headed and reasonably hard working , but the men were completely worthless, not adjusting and not really trying to: lots of crime.

As time went by I noticed that as these new arrivals procreated their spawn wound up in juvenile hall in disproportionately large numbers.

Mexicans though have a rep for working hard (even the gang bangers have a work ethic), and hey, if they want to hit their women to keep them in line who am I to judge?

;I'm amused that the rightwing is acting like the Gen Milley part of the Woodward book is true. What happens when they then try to claim what Woodward says about Trump is questionable.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

So Winter is Coming. And, despite what many American think, Afghanistan has brutal winters (it is not a tropical country).

Now, with the Taliban in control there is a real threat that there will be food shortages this winter, and sanctions by much of the international community will not help this (in fact it will make it far worse). This is on top of the current social systemic problems of largely prohibiting women from working and having religious demands on much of society.

The UN wants access by aid workers, but the Taliban is being skeptical. And, many concessions for international aid will not allow for foreign military presence or even UN Peacekeepers to monitor the situation.

Milley was Woodward's source. He admitted making the phone calls to his Chinese counterpart without Trump's knowledge.

This is the same military crackpot who pulled the military out to Afghanistan, leaving thousands of Americans and their allies, and $88 billion in equipment behind.

This is the same military crackpot whose incompetence got thirteen Marines and 160 Afghanis blown to bits.

Elon Musk mocks President Biden after SpaceX completes first all-civilian mission LOL LOL LOL

Quote:
After SpaceX completed a historic, private spaceflight on Saturday, CEO Elon Musk took a pot shot at President Joe Biden who had yet to remark on the company's and the civilian flight crew's accomplishments.

One of Musk's 60 million followers on the social networking platform Twitter asked him, "The President of the United States has refused to even acknowledge the 4 newest American astronauts who helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for St. Jude. What's your theory on why that is?"

Musk replied, "He's still sleeping."

Well, Biden is old AF.

If I make it that long I’ll be enjoying many naps, that’s a guarantee.

Bold move by Musk considering his companies are reliant on the government to exist. Actually this is a routine criticism that I have of him, he constantly mocks the government (not just Biden, that is whatever), but is the first in line for pushing for tax credits (when it benefits him) and government contracts (which are the only reason his companies are profitable)..... Pretty hypocritical in my view, but nothing new for him.... (I am not a Musk fan, if that is not clear).
