Nope. Biden to govern as a Moderate, which is what he ran as being. He's a Democrat. He won. I think that we would be better off with a more moderate administration. He can do what he pleases, and I can say what I want about it, just as you can.

Biden has actually been governing to the right of what he campaigned on, thanks to Manchin and Sinema.

So when I see republicans say he needs to be more moderate, what that really looks like is “he needs to not be a Democrat.”

He's doing a poor job on the Covid vaccine issue. I've gone to that in detail in the Covid thread, but a LEADER works to bring people together and get things done.

Are you kidding me
There is absolutely NOTHING Biden can do about stupid anti vaxxers
You actually think Biden has a shot at convincing AZ
If so

I don't give two flips whether or not Biden has a chance to change AZ's stance. I am talking about the issue of vaccine hesitancy among many others.

Yes, I actually think a good leader could get a percentage of them to move towards vaccination without screaming at them. Not all, but a percentage.

This whole thing is about increasing the percentage protected by vaccine and natural immunity. I believe he can do better.

You think he is perfect--you will not give one example of anything he has done that is imperfect. There is, as is often the case here, no room for discussion. We are talking at each other, not too each other. That is why I stay from here a lot more than previously.

I guarantee you it was a friendly approach until the idiots started with all the conspiracy theories. The well was poisoned several times over before Biden was even on the case.

lmao

0.000001% is a percentage, I guess.

Might as well criticize Biden for not being able to grow wings and fly to the moon.

Except Biden is NOT the far left. In actuality, there are only a handful of Congressmen and Senators who are far left. Fortunately, they have poisoned the American people against the entire Democrat Party.

Joe is an old line, traditional moderate democrat.

The thing is, lots of people today hold views that are more progressive than his, and they want to be heard.

Will they take over the democrats, or form their own party?

This will probably just lead to some insults about liberals.

Trump never (to my knowledge) attacked the general voting public on the Democrat side. (kudo's to him)

So ask any of the liberals here were we impressed with his convincing arguments? I mean, I have to LOL to think that made any difference. Made zero difference as far I know.

I would say that Bernie Sanders running for the Democratic nomination two consecutive times as much as answers that question. While pragmatism is not usually the strong suit of the Far Left, it would seem to me that they are pragmatic enough to know that they need the Moderates. Similarly, I think the Moderates (who are the more pragmatic ones anyway) recognize that they can't completely alienate the Far Left.

I tend to think that's especially true when it comes to the Presidency. The best status quo for the two major parties, regardless of their personal ideals, would involve either no strong third-party candidate at all, or if there is to be one, then it be one who is mainly pulling votes from the opposite side.

Sanders Running for Dem Nomination = Snowball's Chance in Georgia

Sanders Running for POTUS (General Election) as a Socialist = Snowball's Chance in Hell

Everything else will be infighting and tug-of-war, but I doubt enough to ever fully fracture the party.

Many of the people am talking about likely voted for him based on the numbers. it is amazing how they are just forgotten and tossed aside once they vote for the party that basically counts their votes as in the bag ahead of time.

It may not be a huge percentage, but I would bet that he could get more than you opine.

Even one percent makes a difference...
