No doubt this war shows how important NATO is
Biden is RIGHT to support NATO
Trump was WRONG on NATO
But try telling that to Tanko :-)

FactCheck.org says that the claim that Trump wanted to pull out of NATO distorts the fact.s

It doesn't matter
Common knowledge on planet Earth is that Trump is anti NATO

That is what happens when you get all your info from Google news. The reports that Oculus causes brain damage may be true.

We should have always pushed for members of NATO to pay their share of the expenses. Pulling out is not something we should have considered, but pushing them to pay for their own defense is not a huge ask. We cannot be the world's policeman alone but we can stand with countries in alliances we have to help keep them from being attacked. It gets tiring spending our time--and troops, even more importantly--on people that won't do their part.

The same with the UN. We support a huge organization which can't even figure out a way to officially condemn the Russian leaders for this aggression.

I am not an isolationist; we just need people to pay their share for their defenses. We also need to be careful where we commit troops.

Could be. Here's an example.

Isn't posting about the oculus in a Biden thread a sign of brain damage disconnect
WTF does the oculus have to do with Biden??????????
The Trumper anti NATO defense is entering the bizzaro world.
Ignore Trump and his anti NATO stance and follow oculus instead
The deflection is amazing

Trump is not a great example of someone who needs to be telling other people about paying up.

Whatever.

Telling people in NATO to pay up was a good thing. That push should continue until every member is doing their part (if they are not already). It is an important alliance to us but it is even more important to those closer to countries who could attack them. Paying up and providing the right number of troops makes the alliance strong. It is frustrating to pay the share for other countries while their countries and economies benefit without them paying

Instead of acknowledging anything Trump did that was right, the left always wants to attack about something else.

Sorry RonC, kenarman, Tannko, etc.

You can’t whitewash everything Donny did to weaken NATO during his term.

Literally a simple Google search of “Trump weaken NATO:”

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/01/trump-privately-discussed-destroying-nato-alliance/amp

But be sure to tell us again about how some Socialist group no one has ever heard of with 8 state senators in it doesn’t like NATO. 😂
