Woohoo! About time. Let’s go Brandon!!

Quote:
Whoa, Biden just pardoned everyone convicted of the federal crime of marijuana possession. And set in motion a process to reschedule or deschedule cannabis under the Controlled Substances Act.

Proper etiquette is to always cite the source via link.

Pardoning marijuana offenses is huge. This may make Biden the largest pro-marijuana President since the 1920s. Between this and student loan relief I think it will boost his popularity with young people.

The downside is most marijuana possession charges are State level, so most people will not benefit. I honestly would not be surprised if its something like 95% of people with possession charges are State level. And the President cannot pardon State convictions, so the reality is this will not have a massive impact on people struggling with a record. But, its a step in the right direction.

I have no criticism for him on this

I have mixed feelings about marijuana, still. I just don't like the culture it generates. Decriminalization, though, just needs to be done, and the feds shouldn't be on one side and the states the other.

What culture????????????
I smoke. Had no idea I was generating a culture.
You see a lot of elderly at the dispensary
They ain't smoking for culture lol
Dispensary customers are just regular folks you see everywhere. Waiting in the Dispensary lobby I see no culture. No different then say a bank lobby with customers.
What culture are you referring too????????

Got a problem with Cheech and Chong
I think those guys are hilarious. Love Up in Smoke
But
It's just an old movie.
No relationship to the regular people I see at the dispensary. I honestly don't see a difference in people in a dispensary lobby or a bank lobby. Just regular folks either accessing money or pot :-)
What culture do you see in a dispensary lobby. People do seem to be happier. Is that the culture that upsets you. Lol
Pot is now mainstream, get used to that :-)
