Some companies are coming out to clarify the Russian vodka boycott. For instance, Smirnoff is not a Russian product though it was of that origin.

Apparently, the desire of the Ukrainians to remain independent and free from Russian tyranny, had nothing to do with it.

I read that only about 1% of the vodka sold in the U.S. is from Russia. A few years ago I switched my allegiance to Tito's vodka. I believe it is made in Texas.
