What is the big deal about leaving the state? Canada has abortion pretty much on demand up until the the 20th week. The abortion clinics are concentrated in the big cities. People in rural areas have to travel hundreds of miles to get all kinds of medical treatment. 3 weeks ago I had to drive my wife to a regular face to face with the renal clinic which happens every 6 months. It was 360 miles round trip.

Then you guys have essentially coat hanger abortions or unwanted babies if people don't have access easy enough. That bump in the abdomen doesn't just deliver air, you know.

I can't believe they actually overturned Roe VS Wade! I was thinking,"No way in hell is Roe VS Wade getting overturned. The backlash would be beyond horrendous." Ladies and gentlemen, it actually happened. I am flabbergasted. People who were at their appointments for abortions were actually told to go home without getting their procedures done. . It won't be long before the 70's are back with women using wire coat hangers and doing back alley abortions. Horrendous thoughts. I never thought I'd see the day.

Canada at least doesn't go out of its way to make abortion difficult like they have done progressively over the years here with unnecessary requirements and obstacles. Yet Canada has fewer abortions with 15.2 per 1000, to the US 20.8 per 1000.

What a stupid comment. People do what they need to get the treatment they want. Gay people still found ways to have sex even when it was illegal.

If you were actually saying it's an advantage being so far away, you should have said so. You acted llke it was a chore to travel so far. Apparently you think it's good for everyone.

It is what it is. If you don't want to travel then live close to what is important to you. Young people now think that every government service should be within walking distance. We can't afford that number of service centres for anything. People have no problem travelling for an hour or two to get to an airport that provides a reasonable number of flights and destinations to go on a holiday.

We have intentional lack of access here. This doesn't require rare specialist only found in large medical centers, or uncommon specialty equipment. We're not talking about a natural occurring difficulty to access.

We can't even get to worrying about what you're talking about.

Everybody is noticing that while the Democrats are holding these sham Monkey Trial Insurrection hearings their own party is attempting insurrection while a state congress is in session. How stupid are these people. Any teeny tiny imaginary gain they might have gotten from these ridiculous hearings just vaporized, poof. Not that they made any gains, which they did not.
