Just taking an interest here. What's odd to me is that "light beer" ever had any appeal 'to guys' in the first place. I grew up drinking Bud but never had a weight issue so I continued to drink Bud. The more calories for the same price the better. Occasionally I'd drink Bud Lime. I don't drink much now, so it doesn't affect me either way too much. But I haven't had one since the marketing technique. I've been keeping up with the news and monitor their financials. I'm still waiting on a sincere corporate apology. As time progresses, another person higher up the chain gets involved verbally. |
