The rightwing doesn't even listen to their own constant rhetoric about people wanting freedom of choice. You still don't have to get an abortion in Kansas if you don't want one. ...and no, they apparently don't believe that should be driving out of state to get one. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Record turnout for a primary on one issue Those bricks are absolutely massive Abortion is common sense and most Americans agree. This was never an issue for Republicans until they got in bed with the crazy Christian right and now they might have to pay and pay dearly. Bottom line is Americans don't like their rights taken away. Even in Kansas. Will Republicans listen to the country? I am not terribly familiar with this story. Has the 10 year old been interviewed if she would want to have a baby? At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I guess that gets to my question. Was it purely the parents decision or did the child have any say? I am not judging, just curious. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Wait what? You mean the SCOTUS said let the people of each state decide and they did? Holy Crap. i thought the Dems said that SCOTUS banned abortions? Isn't that why we have a thread on back alley abortions? I did notice that the Kansas GOP Senatorial Primary winner had more votes than the top 5 Dem Candidates combined! And the GOP Governor Candidate had 40% more votes than the Democrat. GOP Voters turning out in force in Kansas, I expect more of the same come November.
