I had the most peaceful election night of my life.

Totally ignored all social media and news. Watched some Netflix. Went to bed.

Woke up to see this blaring article on NYT:

Fetterman Defeats Oz

Can you imagine what a rout it would have been if Fetterman didn’t have the stroke? In a way, Oz reminds me of Hillary Clinton. Smart, smooth talker, unlikeable.

Everybody has to have the same options. A person with $0 would not have that option. If the government paid it would work.

By that logic we have to give the person with $0 a ride to the polls.

I'd be ok with that. The 'ride to the polls' cost is a drop in the bucket compared to all the other money we are likely paying for and to the person with $0. I'd be pretty much for ANY proposal that includes requiring ID to vote.

Well at least Oz has more dignity than some Republicans who lose their races.

Fetterman 49
Oz 44

Fetterman’s stroke was a known issue pre-debate.

Oz’s abortion should be between “ a woman, her doctor, and local politicians” was the gaffe of the season.

Hmmm…

Quote:
Fetterman margin now 4.3%. No landslide, but not that close at all, solid win, bigger than Toomey in 2016—Larger than R’s winning margin in NC senate. Debate didn’t matter or maybe even helped Fetterman because Oz is so smarmy, made the abortion gaffe.

Arizona senate race was called for Democratic candidate Mark Kelley
Alaska has not been called but the race is between two Republican candidates,
Nevada senate race has not been called, but Adam Laxalt, Republican Party has 468,437 votes and Catherine Cortez Masto, Democratic Party has 467,575 votes. So it will almost certainly go Republican.

So control of the Senate will be decided on the GA runoff election of December 6th. If Senator Raphael Warnock wins the Senate will return to 50/50 with Kamala Harris having the tie breaking vote. If the Republican challenger, Herschel Walker wins Republicans will have 51 Senate votes

No. There are more outstanding votes left in Democratic areas.

Dems will already have 50 senate seats going into the runoff.

Certainly???????
Leading by about 800 votes is razor thin
At 93% counted, 800 vote lead is not close to certain
