Scientific speculation about extraterrestrial civilizations is highly unsatisfying, because there are few concrete facts known on which to even speculate. Of the numbers in the Drake equation, we know one, the number of stars in the universe (and that's probably off by an order of magnitude). Of the rest, were beginning to determine one, the fraction of stars with planets. That's it. We've no idea for the rest.

That's why science fiction satisfies more.

However, you seem to be a good person and an overall valuable member. I am a believer in a road to redemption for good people who screwed up. That road will begin with serving two months for each GFY infraction. We'll start the clock at 12/6/17, the date of the second incident. Then, if you can behave yourself here, we might see a return to WoV but it with take more time beyond the four months. I'll see you on April 6, assuming you don't return to either site under yet another handle.

It has not gone unnoticed that Monet's four-month suspension ends this Friday. However, I have a strong suspicion he violated the multiple accounts rule at WoV, again, since the last sentencing. I reserve the right to consider actions at WoV in my admin decisions here, which I'm doing in this case. For the multiple account offense, I'm adding another two months to his sentence. We will revisit this again on June 6.

It has been about 8 years since I logged into Facebook. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.
