This is where we reverse things. In Feb
we're bitching about 8 above zero for
the high and you're saying it's 80
in AZ.

This week the weather has
been gorgeous, upper 70's and no
humidity. Small thunderstorm going
thru right now, still great out.
+ 8 isn't bad. I've enjoyed many days at +10, after the moisture gets frozen out of the air. Outside being active, it doesn't even take thick layers as long as your moving. Up north 10 usually means clear sky's.

But there is nothing you can do about this heat, no way to take off enough layers.

Even lizards are hitchhiking north at this temp.

Enjoyed, not really. The thing about
nice weather like this week, you
don't have think before you go
outside like you do when it's plus
8 or plus 110.

True that, and I really like being able to use my screens and have air exchange.

11:30 and still 100.

3:30, looks like it isn't going to get much higher than the current 113 ? If it's going to be this insufferably hot outside, I'd just as soon it go ahead and hit the 120's. At least Havasu would have something that makes it unique, rather than just insufferable like so many desert holes in the desert SW.

So, I'm rooting for 120+, as it has been before. I want this global warming breaking heat records. Even as awful as it is outside, this has been the mildest spring and summer we have endured since coming here in '10.

Bring it sol.

They're reporting that this past July was the hottest month ever in world history. Not just US, everywhere.

I'd be interested in how they got the
temp's from before the last 19th
century when there was no way to
measure temperature. That narrows
'world history' from billions of years
down to the last 125 or so. Hardly
a worthwhile stat.

I don't believe that July set a record in the US as a whole. The west was cooler than normal. I can't find anything that says it was a record in the US. Glad to see anything you can find.

The hoax continues unabated. Like
there isn't enough to worry about
in life, they forced people to worry
about the weather. Amazing.

The rest of the world must have sucked some of the heat out of this oven, similar to how you check a pie and the wave hits you in the face?

Why don't ovens open to the side like a fridge , that would be much easier imo?

Folks in AK have had an excellent summer as well.

My dorm kitchen had the oven next to the fridge
