Random Thought of the Day

Lately when typing at my PC, be it at home or at work, I'll often tap the space bar twice and be puzzled for a minute that a period doesn't magically appear. All I get is " "

I had to laugh at their logo. Like a casino logo.

Was just watching the end of Hitchcock short where a guy makes a deal with another to escape from custody by being buried in a graveyard. Then the other guy is suppose to show up and dig him up.

Yeah, doesn't even sound like a great idea. Waiting underground in a box. What could go wrong?

gotta find my dvds of "alfred hitchcock presents' and watch them again. Great stuff.

One thing interesting is that at the time, censors stepped in if in a story anyone committing a crime etc did not get caught and punished ... or bad behavior generally, really, going unpunished - not allowed.

Hitchcock had no use for that - he loved twisted stories. So at the end of the program he simply appeared and said something like "as an addendum, the bad guys were caught and went to jail" LOL

I guess you had to live back then to really appreciate what he was getting away with

For the second time in my life, I had to run at the airport to catch a flight. As happened the previous time, I got to the gate just after boarding should have started, only to find boarding hadn't started. In fact, this time the plane wasn't even at the gate yet.

Conclusion: I'm incapable of missing a flight ;)

I remember being in a long security line once
I looked at the time and relaxed. I had plenty of time.
A couple was moving ahead of people in line saying they needed to get through security faster or they would miss their flight
I let them pass me
Later I noticed that same couple was on my flight.

I have never missed a flight yet either Nareed. I was even still on one of the Greek islands once when my flight was scheduled to leave Athens. Got to Athens about 2 hours late and still waited for an hour or more for the flight.

It amazes me how many times we are all told that they are recording "every keystroke", and it goes right over peoples heads.

My trade magazine has articles from people that worked at the facility as well as photos.

It is announced over and over that police can listen to cell conversations and criminals get all slack jawed when the cops how up, "this is your sign".

The French are our allies and their secret service are world renowned as well. I can't help but wonder why attacks like the one's in Paris happen and if the tax payers don't deserve a refund.

Even if communication was mouth to ear, that stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum.
