Also he forgets how lead actors are often smallish like one of his favorites, Tom Cruise.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is pleasant family oriented fantasy film.

Tim Burton is still best known for three of his earliest films "Edward Scissorhands","Batman", and "Beetlejuice". He has been stumbling badly in the last decade, but I though "Miss Peregrine" as up to his mid level films like "Big Fish".

Beetlejuice 2 (announced)
Dumbo (pre-production)
2016 Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
2014/I Big Eyes
2012 The Killers: Here with Me (Video short)
2012 Frankenweenie
2012 Dark Shadows
2010/I Alice in Wonderland
2007 Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
2005 Corpse Bride
2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
2003 Big Fish
2001 Planet of the Apes
1999 Sleepy Hollow
1996 Mars Attacks!
1994 Ed Wood
1992 Batman Returns
1990 Edward Scissorhands
1989 Batman
1988 Beetlejuice
1985 Pee-wee's Big Adventure

Sleepy Hollow, Mars Attacks, Ed Wood, those are the
only ones I would have and have seen more than
once. I have SH on DVD, great H-ween movie.

Good god. That's the reason I don't see this
crap. Computer fantasy land where they
can make anybody look like they're
doing anything. A real heroic act looks
lame now because of all the CGI fake
crap the movies spew at us. In reality
your 115 pound 'kicking butt' heroine
would be hiding behind the nearest tree
waiting for a man to come a save her.

I agree. Thats why I cant watch Tom Cruise movies
He's a real small guy
Just absurd he could beat somebody up
In reality, he would wait for a man or bigger female to save him

At least he's a man acting like a man.
A small woman acting like a man is
just weird, not to mention entirely
not believable. That's what I liked
about the LOTR books, the few
women there were acted like women.
The movies were good in that regard
also.

Why the hate for Tom Cruise? I enjoyed many of his films. They're fun. He did many of his own stunts. I respect that regardless of his stature.

I dont hate him
I know his small size so him as Jack Reacher, I just chuckle instead of being wowed.
You can laugh at somebody and not hate
Its like seeing small woman beat up guys in the movies. Like EB said, not believable

Bruce Lee and Jet Li are the same
height as Tom Cruise and could
kick the ass of guys twice their
size. Are you saying because Cruise
is white it's different?

Nope
Cruise couldn't kick anybodys ass
