In the 50's most of my toys were plastic. Cars, farm sets with plastic buildings and animals, all plastic military sets with plastic tanks and jeeps and soldiers. My sister got plastic dolls and dish sets, plastic doll houses with plastic furniture. I remember almost nothing being made of wood. Got a big Roy Rogers and Trigger one Xmas, all hard plastic. Even if Hoffman's character had indicated he was getting a degree in chemistry, it was stupid. Even if we were supposed to think he was graduating with a pile of cash [we weren't] the advice was incomplete, as I'm sure an inexperienced investor could invest in the wrong companies. Didn't see it. Two of the accusers testified for Michael Jackson at his earlier trial. I'd be curious to know how often that happens. I know victims can be reluctant when still too close to the abuser, but not familiar with any cases where they are safe from an abuser in a courtroom still testify in favor of him. Now they are against him. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
