Loved this! Feels like a movie made just for my tastes.

Totally bombed at the box office, but who cares? Not like it was ever gonna get a sequel.

Today I saw Earth verses the Spider, 1958. June Kenny is now 88 years old.

I would be 88 years old by the time I finished watching it.

I'm watching a movie starring Jane Fonda (who Mission has never heard of) where Jim Backus, (Mr Howell from Giligan's Island) is playing Mr Drysdale (but not the one from Beverly Hillbillies), and the plot is where several characters are playing someone other than who they are. Also, reminds me, Tina Louis (Ginger from Gilligan's Island) recently said the sexist actor on Giligan's island was actually Jim Backus, not the professor. (Russell Johnson)

Trivia, what was the professor's character's name? What was the skipper's character's name? And how many episodes were their names mentioned? (this last part is the super duper bonus question)

Titante got a recommendation as the most F...d up movie ever made. 'Causing people to faint or walk out.

That always sells some tickets.

One thing I think is interesting. Had a female director. I can't remember any super messed up films by female directors. At least not one to the nth degree.

I don't know how to qualify, "Messed up," but did people not consider Pet Sematary scary at the time? I thought the old woman who could move really fast was a little creepy, but most horror movies are laughable regardless of the director's gender.

Most of my scariest experiences have nothing to do with the supernatural or gore. One time I was climbing these small cliffs (mostly rock) and a couple of us had gone into a depression in the side. It was about 40ft up, and one of the other kids gave me a light shove from behind as I was sitting near the edge. Scared the hell out of me.

I watched the original "Nightmare Alley" this week. Based on what I've seen of the trailers. the remake is pretty close to the original. I think it's one of those films which is better not spoiled, so if you plan to see it, I wouldn't read up on it or watch the earlier one. I can't think of any whizbang action or special effects which might make you want to watch besides the plot, so that's why I think it's best not spoil it.

I watched My Cousin Vinny the other night, it was actually a pretty good movie for a silly comedy.
