We are watching some single season series about "Killer"s. They seem to talk seriously but of course also are angling for shorter sentences. Religion gets mentioned a few times in the episodes. I wonder how many of those thousands of victims of priest rapists, go on to commit serious crime as a direct result of being molested in the extreme?

Because the vast majority of victims don't
come forward for decades and the statute
of limitations has passed by then. We won't
know how many kids were molested by
priests in the last 10 years for another
10 years. It's just too embarrassing and
humiliating for many of the victims to come
forward.
