All they do is ruin food..

Not so. I use mine for cooking all the
time. Works especially good on things
like homemade enchiladas. I cook bacon
in it. It's great for leftover casseroles. Put
some leftovers in a casserole dish, add
a can of Progresso soup, top with cheese
and you've got dinner. With an electric
frying pan, a crockpot, and a micro, you
don't really need a stove.

Category: Familiar faced actors you can't quite name

1. ?

Yup, that's it.

Saw Robert Wagner in early "Titanic" movie. Didn't recognize his face right away, but his voice was instantly familiar.

Hard to believe he's 86.

That's in such bad taste I almost
can't believe you posted it. She
was a much loved person and
actress who had a terrible accident.
Hardly worthy of mockery after
death.

Remember the small transistor radio about the size of your palm which ran on a 9 volt battery. Reception was terrible and totally depended on twisting it the right way. Usually had a single ear plug for private listening. AM radio, top 40.

And here is one kind.

I had one in 1960, it worked great. Used to
listen to far away stations in bed at night.

I had a cheap one I used on my paper rounds when I was growing up, and an even cheaper, faded pink one I got for 3 pounds that was my car radio for my first junker. Had to line it up on the dash just right to get any reception, but it worked.

Now, I have my phone and podcasts for such things...

Horse coaster. I wonder how safe that was.
