if glaciers start streaming down from Canada, it will be explained as a side effect of global warming

Woohoo, data fluctuation. Are we suppose to care? That's not enough to offset an average loss of glacial ice of 260 gigatonnes since the year 2000.

Here's a report on a recent study from April, based on "imagery captured on board NASA's Terra satellite, which has been orbiting the Earth once every 100 minutes since 1999 at an altitude of nearly 700 kilometres. Terra is home to ASTER, a multispectral imager with two cameras that record pairs of stereo images, allowing researchers to create high-resolution digital elevation models of all the world's glaciers

700 gigatons vs 260 gigatons ? Am I missing something?

Yeah 700 is peak for 1 year not an average loss over 19 years. It's like claiming a gambling streak one year makes up for all the years of losing.

Your comprehension skills are seriously lacking. The graph is the total build up for each year (not the additional). News flash snow melts in the summer. The blue is the average build-up over the last 39 years. Notice how much higher the red is. The blue band is quite consistent the red is an exceptional year. You can go back to your bubble now don't let the real world and facts impose on your prejudices.

The unusual peak is one year. Just like i said.

News flash. Still makes no difference. At least not in the long term. (In a short term year, could be more flooding as it melts)

Sure I would have compared snow to snow, if there was a yearly trend to show. I used ice, because that showed an actual trend.

Anyway, what happens on a warming Earth. More evaporation. More evaporation means more rainfall, and more snowfall.

You didn't compare snow because the trend is stable in that graph. Snow is flat, Antarctic ice is increasing and Arctic ice is decreasing. That doesn't sound like the overwhelming evidence that you pretend their is for global warming.
