I don't see how this is fair to me though. The guy has written over 1,400 posts. I'm supposed to sift through 1,400+ posts to find the one in question? I doubt that any member on this board (including you) takes notes on who said what and when they said it.

Plus you're forgetting that members can edit their posts at any time. I have no idea when he said it, but HE does. And he can edit out that information whenever he wants. Heck, I bet it's been edited out already. I honestly don't have the time or desire to go through 1,400+ posts to find evidence that's probably been deleted.

It's your board so do whatever you feel is necessary (and I'm man enough to accept it), but I think it's unfair for me to go on a wild goose chase looking for evidence that's probably been scrubbed from the record.

I am not against such a systems, casinos do the exact same system of behavior tracking within the property. A government version of this could be good for society.

Also, why in the world would I fabricate something as petty & trivial as a microchip?? If I'm gonna make stuff up about others, then people should at least give me and my imagination more credit than that lol

Nowhere do I support microchiping. This is the closest that I ever get to the subject. Which seemed to trigger you at the time, and has since evolved into microchiping accusations in later posts (you have referenced this in a derogatory way quite a few times since I posted it so it clearly bothers you)....

Heck, I can point out numerous times when people actually misrepresented something that someone else said (either intentionally or unintentionally), but nobody whined to the mods about it. They just ignored it and moved on with their lives. That's what mature people do. We don't have time to worry about what every anonymous internet poster says.

You've clearly been thinking about this for a while because you've been counting up the times I've talked about a microchip. This already happens in casinos. It has nothing to do with microchipping. It is facial recognition software (where if you have been in a casino in the last 5 years they probably already have you....)

But, yes I do support more public surveillance cameras, I am quite fond of the system in casinos....

CPB does this with plates at borders and at key points within the county to track movement of vehicles. Its only a matter of time before they do this with faces (I am sure some more secretive agencies already do without publishing it). And, I think that is a good thing for keeping tabs on people. As part of the defund the police movement BLM is demanding that GOOGLE and Microsoft not sell or help government LE agencies development facial recognition technology, this is more foolishness from BLM. I think it is good to track people who vandalize in public. In China they can issue a ticket for littering from cameras alone with nobody around and just send it to your account.

But, anyway, this is all about surveillance in public areas. This is nothing to do with microchipping.... Also, its not petty or trivial, forcing microchipping is a huge policy, one that even the most authoritarian regimes have not taken.... (If it was trivial it would not upset you), nor would accusations of it upset me....

I know it's a lot to ask you to go through over 1,400 posts, looking for a needle in a haystack. The search feature should make easier, although I know it's not perfect.

Yes, fair point that the post could have been deleted.

However, at the end of the day, if you allege another member said something, you should quote the exact words in quote tags. Quoting is not a requirement, but if you are called out on paraphrasing, as you were, then you must provide evidence. Otherwise, anybody could say anybody said anything.

As to this particular alleged quote, it would be an understatement to say that forced micro-chipping is an extreme point of view that I doubt Gandler has. I believe his claim that he never said that and doesn't hold that position.

I do appreciate that you respect my authority in policing this site, even if you don't agree with it. I wish everybody had this maturity.

That said, my sentence is one week. You are welcome to use the week to search for the alleged post where Gandler said this.
