Do you really find that shocking? That was my first assumption and seemed like a very probable situation. Maybe I am just too jaded having lived in Las vegas for the last 30 years.

There's a lot more death in Vegas than ever makes the news, I'm pretty sure. I only lived there 12 years though.

Iranian President Rouhani expects Biden to bow to Iran.

“I have no doubt that the heroic national resistance of Iran is going to compel the future U.S. government to bow … and the sanctions will be broken,”

I have no doubt Biden will not bow to Iran
Negotiate, of course
Bow, no way

Really
Why is that?
I'm living by Sam's Town
People on WOV say its extremely sketchy
I just dont see it
But
I may have a big big tolerance for what I consider sketchy
I attended Drexel University near downtown Philadelphia and lived on campus
Walk a few blocks and its extremely sketchy in Philly bordering on dangerous. A lot worse then the area around Sams Town

Obviously everything is relative. You would not catch me walking alone in that neighborhood between midnight and 4am.

Of course, my wife and I usually go to bed at 8pm. Twice this week we have been in bed by 7:30pm. I am hoping this is our new bedtime.

How is the area where the Moulin Rouge used to be?
Its history fascinates me
The best web site I found on it is

Since I'll see their neon at the neon museum, figure a drive by before going to the museum is a good idea

Just to be clear, there are casinos in Vegas where it’s generally okay to treat the outside area around the casino as safe as it is inside. That area is not one of them.

He had 15 bodyguards.
"Sandoval had been assigned 15 police bodyguards, but only two were with him during the attack.

“A lot of planning went into this murder – which means that someone had been hunting him for weeks, if not months. Someone who knew his movements, who knew more or less when he would not have all his bodyguards,” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/dec/18/aristoteles-sandoval-mexico-jalisco-shot-dead-puerto-vallarta
