I literally never heard of him. He seems to have insane political views, but listing to a couple of his songs, he is actually pretty creative and I enjoyed them. Kind of music I like.

Goes back to my philosophy, don't look into the political views of artists you admire anymore than you should look to the political views of your mechanic, or doctor, or anyone who you are a customer to, you are bound to be disappointed.

That's true, but it would certainly be easier if some of them would just shut the hell up about it. Of course, most of them do keep their mouths shut about it.

I know, I know, they feel a certain responsibility to, "Use their platform," or whatever, but that's bullcrap. Their platform is existing, in some way, for the public's consumption on an entertainment medium. That's what they get paid to do. I care about how well a guy throws a football; I don't care anymore to hear that guy's political stance than I would to hear the political stance of my waitress at the restaurant.

My thought is don't worry about anyones political views. Put your time and effort into dealing with the existing issues. Worry about future issues when they present themself. Who knows, you may be dead before they arise and then you have just wasted your time.

day since Tgiving. Four different
bloggers. NYC is a ghosttown
compared to a year ago. Time
Square is empty at noon. All indoor
restaurants are closed. All movie
theaters, Broadway theaters, bars,
are all closed. Hundreds and
hundreds and hundreds of small
businesses closed forever. In New
York City alone, landlords are owed
over 1 billion dollars in back rent.
Taxi drivers are starving because
business is down 90%. What we're
seeing is a slowly approaching
catastrophic glacier that's moving
so slowly we can't see yet what
it's going to crush.

If I had to guess, it's rioting in the
streets this Spring unless the
stranglehold on small business
is released. Cuomo and DeBlasio
are seeing this and are getting
very nervous.
