They are now saying the quiet part out loud. Makes it sound like the $10 increase in the cost of the July 4th meal this year is part of the plan instead of presenting a plan to make things better. They claimed last year’s twenty cent decrease was good because of strong Biden economic policy…well, this year’s is a lot worse because of Biden economic policy. You can’t claim victory and not accept defeat. Putin, Putin, Putin is but a small part of the problem. The majority of the problems is that they openly want to transform us into something most rational people do not want. Drill. Build a refinery or three. Invest in clean nuclear energy. Work on producing vehicles that don’t pollute as much before, during, and after their useful lifespan. Make more things in America. Talk about the atrocities in China and don’t rationalize that some bad things happen here, too. Not even the same conversation. Lead. Senators are often not good leaders; Biden is no exception to that. He is a career politician with a fortune made off of his work in politics. He has produced or built nothing. Nice scam if you can do it. |

odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 154 Posts: 5112 | nobody wants to build a refinery since it takes 10 years for that to pay off ... the plan is, we won't need the refineries we have now in 10 years, everybody is going to be driving an EV, or so the would-be refinery builders are being told I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

The number of US refineries has decreased from 250 in 1982, to only 127 today. With fewer refineries, diesel fuel is in short supply. Especially in the northeast. No doubt our crackerjack Transportation Secretary is working on it, along with the supply chain crisis and the infant formula crisis. |
