Sure, if you take away all the people the corporation doesn't exist. But if you dissolve a corporation, the people still exist. So, they're not the same thing.

Also, you can't own people. Or part of a person like a shareholder.

Not a valid point. No matter what the corporation is the people who own it. That is all that matters.

Nah, you’re just another conservative twisting meanings when necessary just like those nasty Democrats.

Abortion isn’t mentioned in the Constitution and neither are corporations.

Quote:
The text of our Constitution never mentions corporations. The framers wrote and the American people ratified the original articles and amendments to the Constitution to secure the inalienable rights of “We the People” — living human beings.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Corporations are given legal rights in the same sense animals are given rights. Whatever someone found useful.

And everyone in the corporation who is a citizen already has a vote. So the corporation already has many votes. Your argument is they should all get to vote twice if they form a group. So if you want twice as many votes as another private citizen you just need a corporation right?

They certainly don’t meet the definition of “person” that conservatives use when they’re talking about the abortion issue, funny how there’s an entirely unrelatable definition of the same thing at that point.

What a stupid comment!

People also own cars: does that make cars "people?"

I smoke weed: does that make my weed "people?"

Of course not.

Corporations are artificial constructs which are owned by and which employ people, but they are not real world people.

Yes, you made a stupid comment but do not need to warn us ahead of time.

I realize that MSNBC told you to hate that corporations are people, but logic says otherwise. And the same people who whine about it would defend Planned Parenthood lobbying for their interests.

But they are not "voting twice." Nor are they donating money twice. They are just pooling their interests. Why be against that?

What does abortion have to do with anything? We are talking about not losing your rights because you associate with people, not ripping human beings to shreds.
