Central Bank Liquidity Swaps are a bit like that.

The Fed was established in 2013.

An after effect of WW1, was the establishment of Central Banks in Europe. Which may have been the main reason for wrecking Europe in the first place.

1913. Interestingly, there was another pandemic shortly after they were formed.

It is interesting to me that money will chase liquidity.

Because when moving large sums of money, a large entity can't sell when they want without having the bottom fall out of an instrument.

So this is definitely an entity providing liquidity.

To anyone who is claiming that the positive economic news coming out of the Administration is phony:

Vanguard's 500 Index Fund - VFINX - which tracks the 500 largest U.S. companies - I believe the most popular mutual fund in the world - is up 8.84% Year to Date - in only a little over one month

The economic outlook is what drives these guys to buy or sell.

Do you really think the Administration could fool the big boys in the market who bet tens of millions based on the economic outlook?

Not a chance in hell they could do that.

This is standard operating procedure for the righties.

Dem presidents cannot oversee a good economy. Any evidence showing otherwise is fake.

This is what I call a sucker's rally.

It was not unexpected.

That's what stocks do.

There's much less risk down here than at the tech top, that's for sure.

But the sell-off hasn't begun yet IMO.

Heck, the Dow is close to its all-time high.

That's what happens when someone pumps trillions and trillions of fiat into markets because they were scared.

Way too much was pumped.

It'll take a long time to drain.

If they want, they can keep pumping to new all-time highs.

A general rule is not to fight the Fed.

And they are supposedly draining.

It's fun for DoubleGold to call multimillionaires making gigantic bets suckers.
But meaningless.
Of course it's a rally and there will at some time be a selloff.
Nobody knows when.
But there is no way a rally can happen without the underlying belief that the economic outlook is good.
Yes, that can change on a dime.
But that belief, for right now, is very unlikely to be wrong.
Because those huge players are not suckers.
They know exactly what's going on.

Here's an example, but I can provide many.

If you would like domestic "big boys", I can provide those too.

So yes, this is a sucker's rally.

No it's not.
And you saying it is doesn't make it one.
It just makes you one more person denying reality because of your political persuasion.
Your link is meaningless.
If I wanted to I could post 20 links showing the opposite of what you claim your link proves.

An example is nVidia.

She's climbed 90% since the start of the rally.

Future earnings next year places the valuation at 50 times earnings per share (50 PE).

Plus, the Fed is draining and raising rates.

It's a classic bear play at the top, wherever that is.
