Melania always looks so good because
she's a model, she knows exactly how
to pose and walk. Remember when
Trump was elected all the big designers
were going to shun her? That didn't
last long..

Some women just carry themselves well. Its poise. It is different in men, men do well when they have a "command posture." A woman with the right poise gets noticed no matter what she is wearing or doing.
The President is a fink.

Trump just made the announcement. Now
the Left will go nuts, he could have nominated
Ghandi and the Left would go nuts.

Saw a thing where they interviewed college
kids and asked their opinion of the new nominee.
He hadn't even been picked yet, they all said
he was a hater, a racist, a bigot. Pretty funny..

Wow, both his parents are lawyers, his mom
is a judge. Imagine the pride they must be
feeling that their only child might be on the
Supreme Court.

Seems like a boring choice.

All the Bush people seem happy though. I’m sure Donald loves that. lol

There's an exciting choice for
the most boring job on the
planet? Who would you pick,
Rupaul?

One of things YouTube is doing I support.

The idea is to surround conspiracy-laden videos with accurate information.

Rather than just knocking them down, they will provide counter links. People who just like to drink their own flavor Kool-Aid will hate this.

The prepared vegetables all have UPC codes and sell by dates, the infection is therefore self limiting and can take up to six weeks to get really bad.

But what happens when its a matter such as took place at WOV recently wherein someone posted about 'saved by the bell' and 'dead ringer' being phrases brought about by coffins having string to ring a bell so as to indicate being alive? I posted that this was a very appealing and popular myth but in fact saved by the bell was indeed a boxing term. Who gets dubbed the nutcase and who gets the accolade of expert?

What about the forensic paleo anthropologist who claimed that ancient Egyptians took copious quantities of tetracycline which was discovered in 1948? If his video is dubbed 'misinformation' due to its absurdity will he ever get the funding to prove himself correct. It took two years for this to happen. During those two years YouTube will be branding him a nutcase.

More information isn't bad in itself. If we reached the point of no authentic source for anything, fine, that's the price we're paying for people calling anything they don't like fake, instead of noting if it was properly sourced.

Note I didn't say true. Procedures for verifying anything are usually better if they're multiple sources confirming different or same aspects. They're usually better if they're by sources which are trusted. They're usually better, the more evidence produced than just raw speculation. They usually better if there is little or none counterfactual evidence. And I'd say, these are some of the way you confirm something as belonging in the fact world, other than usually math or practical physics.

Btw, why would you give a lone wolf more credibility for some possible unheard of new evidence until he either makes really convincing arguments or begins to do all the other legwork in his potential discovery? That's the way it should work.
