A federal law ending bulk gun sales would help. Currently, in most states, a person can purchase an unlimited number of firearms in one transaction. 50, 100, 1,000. No limit Another law that would help, would be to require stolen weapons to be immediately reported under penalty of a large fine or imprsionment. They then sell those firearms on the streets, and claim they were stolen only when the gun is used in a crime. |
