This is YUGE! Thank God we have Dems in the Senate who haven't lost their freaking minds. Mandates would have been a fast track to losing some of our most important freedoms. I am literally breathing a sigh of relief. There is hope for us yet.

Exactly right. And the mandates that would have been shoved down our throats, and there would
be something else coming next and then something after that and something
after that and it would never end. And it would all be labeled 'for our own good'.
I get to decide what's for my own good, thank you.

Mandates are dead now no matter what the Poopypants administration's going to say.
The courts stopped them, Congress stopped them, they are gone. I'm shocked
at the number of people on this forum that didn't see how evil this was.
You really want to live in a country where the government tells you what to do in
your personal life? Really?


Yeah, no. Congress didn’t stop them.

Nancy Pelosi isn’t even gonna bring it up in the House. Biden would just veto it anyway.

Good thing the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals & the Trump Nominees in SCOTUS will take care of The House Plant's mandates.
Who needs Nancy, she is gone in 12 months anyway and Mitch is coming back to kick out Schumer.
2022 is going to be full of excitement, a summer of Conservative SCOTUS decisions & Red Wave in November.

Yes, I want government to assist Big Pharma in bringing a vaccine to market as quickly as possible.
Operation Warpspeed: Check, mission accomplished.
Then make the vaccine available to anyone that wants it: Check, mission accomplished.
Then let the chips fall where they may, if you got the vaccine, you're protected.
If you decided not to get the vaccine, well good luck to you.
The US government's role in fighting Covid is over and has been since vaccines were widely available in May of 2021.

But covid is still on the ascendent. Maybe, just maybe some of your fellow Americans do want a little more from their leaders.

Still. Nice to know that at least one self reliant, free american won't be complaining as it gets worse, Let the chips lie where they fall.
Or is it "let the refusers die where they fall."?

You do know that the recovery rate for covid is 99%, right? Why do you people act like the recovery rate is like 20%. If you get covid even if you are not vaccinated there's a 99% chance you won't die. Even if you're over 75 the recovery rate is like 98%. All the people in my wife's family in the last two months that got covid were all vaccinated. My son-in-law just got covid this week from the college classes he teaches and he's been like double or triple vaccinated. He's so sick he might be going to the hospital. Good work, vaccinations. You act like if everybody was vaccinated that covid would just disappear.
